What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
I get a lot of opportunity to travel. My workload is high for a placement student which means I am always busy and never sat waiting for more work to be provided. This really has helped develop my knowledge as an engineer.
Worst
The area is very expensive to live, so I live around 50 minutes drive away. This is tricky in the mornings but a small price to pay.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure you research the processes that the company is involved in. This will help massively with understanding what the company would like in their candidates and give a head start once you begin.

Don't give up. The interviews are designed to be challenging to see how you cope under pressure. If you think you definitely won't get the role at any point, keep going.
