What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

When resolving issues for customers it can be very rewarding and they can be very grateful when a complicated issue can be resolved.

Worst

Sometimes when major incidents happen work can all of a sudden mount up and this can put certain stresses on the team as we still have to meet SLA's.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £0 - £12,000

Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Communication skills are a must as sometimes resolving a ticket will rely on easy to follow and to understand communication both verbally and written.

Also, you need to be able to think outside of the box and have good troubleshooting skills to back that up.

Do you have any interview tips?

Learn about IT - both recent security events and general tools IT companies use such as Active Directory or the Microsoft Azure/Intune systems.
