What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best things about my job are the people i work with, they are all very supportive and friendly people, we can have a good laugh as well as being serious about the job which i feel is very important to have as it makes work enjoyable and something i really look forward to going to everyday. I really like the responsibilities i have been given, bearing in mind i don't have much experience or knowledge currently i have been given many opportunities and chances which i did not expect which has meant i can fully immerse my self into the job and get a hands on experience which i would never get if i had gone to Uni and i feel this is really benefitting my learning.

Worst

I would not say i have a worst part of my job, i have been here for just over 6 months so far and have started my Uni day release a month ago and i have not yet found anything i find really bad about my job or something i do not enjoy.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Do lots of research about the company and what they are doing at that current time. I knew which project the job role was for so i did lots of research about the project and gathered lots of key points which i then used in my covering letter to talk about anf why i thought i would be good for the role. I spoke about things i had done previously and my personality and how this would lend my self to the career.

Do you have any interview tips?

Because of all the research i had done about the role and project it meant I could ask informed questions and show i had a good understanding and interest in the role. I tried to be confident and fluent in my answers to show i was not nervous. I tried to be friendly and as well as answering questions i made sure i had a few questions prepared to ask too.
