What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The best thing about my job is how brilliant my manager is, he is always keen to see me learn and develop in every way possible. I have learnt so much in the short space of time that I have been here for and will carry on doing so throughout my apprenticeship.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000

Current salary: £13,000 - £15,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I was very nervous when applying and never thought that I would get the job, however, I did my research and when I applied I included all of my strengths that I thought they could benefit from. If you do lots of research on Lockheed and show how much you want the job then it will make you look a lot better than if you hadn't.

Do you have any interview tips?

When I was being interviewed I felt like my manager was really getting to know me. I was nervous and he made me feel very comfortable and I came out feeling very happy. He asked me questions such as how I found my time at college, what hobbies do I have, how much do I know about Lockheed. If there was one tip I would give it would be to research Lockheed Martin as a company. It shows that you have an interest in the company and that you have taken the time and effort to do some research into it.
