What is the annual salary for this role?

Current salary: £23,000 - £25,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Make sure you are determined and you know you want this role as it is a lot of time dedication and a lot of hard work. However when applying I would mostly underline your ability to work under pressure as studying and working can be very stressful. Another thing that you want to be able to highlight is flexibility. A huge pro of being on this apprenticeship is that you are stretched, you are pulled in to finance, IT, People management, and many more. You want to appeal to the role as much as possible, and make yourself seem as far from rigid as possible, and portray your skills to work and adapt quickly to new environments.

Do you have any interview tips?

At the interview, its very important to be relaxed. I was asked how I cope under pressure, what my pros & cons are, and more. You want to seem as natural as possible, outlining you have all the strengths and no negatives will not convince anyone. Being honest here is key, but also making the negative sound like a pro is one of the most important things I have learned from being involved in interviews and being interviewed. For example, a weakness could be that you undertake too many tasks. In this instance, it would be a good weakness to highlight because you have to work well under pressure in this industry, so being able to convey that despite pressure, you like to challenge yourself and complete as many tasks as possible may be in your favor. However it is also a negative because it might seem messy. So you want to be careful with your words and what weaknesses you choose, and how you convey the positive effects of it as well as being truthful and showing the negatives.
