What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
No day is ever the exact same, and no job will be the same either. In maintenance, you will be fixing and maintaining various machines and plenty of other smaller jobs that don’t make the turbines themselves but assists the people and the process in which it is done.
Worst
On some days there may be nothing going wrong with any machines, so there is nothing to do. Other days there will be more apprentices than employees, and apprentices can’t take jobs on their own without an employee working with you, so you will have to wait, this does however give you the opportunity to work on your NVQ.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Keep your CV short, 2 pages at most, employers won’t bother reading anything longer. Don’t write in block text, keep it to bullet points, it is shorter and simpler to skim read through.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be confident, try not to stutter or talk too quickly, keep your sentences fluid and try not to say “uh” or “um” a lot.
