What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The culture and colleagues are my favourite aspect of my job. Many people have been happy to help me and they have all made me feel very welcome. This is consistent throughout all levels of staff.

Worst

I truly am enjoying my apprenticeship lots and feel like I have settled in very well. It is difficult to criticise the job itself. I would say the education provider (External to the Bank) is where there is some room for improvement where I could feel more supported. The Bank have supported me very well and I think if the external provider was to be at the same efficiency level as the Bank it would be great.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be open and honest about your skills and experience, I didn't have a Data specific CV. I had lot's of very relevant work experience so I can highly recommend seeking work experience.

Do you have any interview tips?

Again, be open and honest. It will present you as a more consistent candidate that allows the interviewer to truly understand you and how you may fit in.
