What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be clear and concise when filling in the application forms, show them who you are and why you are the perfect candidate to fill a certain role. Try to show that you have an interest in actually working for GE and not other companies. Sometimes you may be put forward for roles other than the one you applied for because you are seen as being the right fit for a GE employee.
Do you have any interview tips?
When applying for GE it is important to know a little bit about the company. You aren't expected to be an expert on the company, but it is a good idea to show initiative and do some research about what GE do, what their goals are and how they want to progress in the near future. GE are always looking for leadership qualities, so give lots of examples where you have worked as part of a team, possibly been a leader, shown problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with others.
