What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Very relaxed job, stay at home basis if you don’t have a job on your screen (reactive based work) out in real life to day to day meeting new people solving peoples problems. Can’t fault the job it’s self just the working hours possibly only downfall
Worst
Working hours. During apprenticeship not such an issue but after it be prepared to do the odd late shift here and there with call outs.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be safety critical, always put safety first. Apart from that I’d say just always give evidence or show a scenario for whatever it is you’re saying your good at
Do you have any interview tips?
Be safety critical, always put safety first. Be yourself try be as confident as possible in order to gain trust from whoever’s interviewing, prepare for the interview properly.
Questions such as:
When have you shown you put safety first?
When have you solved a problem?
When have you shown leadership?
Basically just have a lot of scenarios ready as examples to back up what you’re saying. Even bring notes in to remind yourself I did and I think that impressed them. Have basic knowledge of the job you’re applying for too as in what you’re going to be doing day to day,
