What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

- You get a very comprehensive understanding of how the company (and exchenages) work - Usually very nice collegues who are willing to teach and explain a lot so that you get both theoretical knowledge and pratical experience during the rotations - Since we are still going to school we also get more general knowlege in economical, political aspects - Very nice external work shops (e.g. time management)

Worst

- The support during the program is not good. The responsible persons are usually very busy and you seldomly get the feeling that your problems/ concerns are taken seriously - Even though advertised in the interview, a stay abroad is nearly impossible since the collegues abroad and in the department almost never know that it is possible and none of the resposible people is ready to help and organize it - Switching deparments is nearly impossible if its apprentice-initiated. If you think a certain department might be interesting for you, but it is not scheduled chances are good that you won't see it even though it would be theoretically possible.

Do you have any interview tips?

Before the interview there is a test with some geneneral, mathematical, linguistical questions. Afterwards you will get the invitation to the interview. Do not overthink and try to relax. It will be a nice interview to give both the applicant and the company a chance to get to know each other. They will ask some general questions about yourself and your life, why you would like to work at the company, what your future plans are, what you are good and bad at etc. Moreover you might need to switch from German to English midways to prove that you are not afraid to speak English.
