Best
Lots of new opportunities within the council to branch into new career areas. Always something new to learn and have a go at to expand your skills base.
Worst
There is a lot going on and because it's such a 'wide' sector it can seem intimidating which could put some people off once they've been in the role for a few weeks.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £19,000 - £21,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Understand that you will have to be flexible with your approaches and also show that you are willing to go that extra mile to help someone.

Be honest about your lack of knowledge in certain areas - They are not expecting you to know everything when you come into the role.
