What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Always ask questions, no matter how silly you might think they are sometimes, and keep challenging yourself and asking for work, the best way of learning is by doing something yourself. You will be pitted against like-minded potential apprentices so be yourself and showcase your qualities.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be sure to cover what you learnt over a mentoring process and talk about your development over the course of the mentoring phase of your application, the interviewers will want to hear about your progress and how you've found speaking to people from the company and what you've picked up in the process. It's important to use the mentoring time as best as you can to leverage an advantage in an interview, what you put in to it, you get out.
