Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Always be confident, confidence will be a necessity in the job role so it is very important to show that you are a confident person when you apply. In addition to this, don't be afraid to ask questions, whether it's on your application or in an interview. As it was the first year of apprentices when I applied, everything was very new and slightly uncertain. However now it will be clearer on how the scheme works, so if you're confused about something don't hesitate to ask.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was asked about my part time job. Obviously, this showed that I had experience in a working environment and although the job roles were completely different I could still transfer some of my skills, for example, communication. Therefore, those who interviewed me were very focused on this. In addition to this, for my interview I had to prepare a presentation on something that I found interesting, the presentation lasted about 10 minutes. I would advise candidates to thoroughly prepare for this and ensure you know what you're saying. You can create a powerpoint presentation or even print off hand outs to give to the interviewers. This presentation demonstrates a number of your skills, and it's important that you do it to the best of your ability.
