What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The opportunity to learn in different areas of the business. My role involves a rotation element where I get to experience different areas within the wider Data team. The people at NFU Mutual are great and provide support as well as contributing to a great working environment. NFU Mutual are also very supportive in relation to the apprenticeship. They have created a great support system catered to the role and the members of my team are great with helping to integrate the apprenticeship into the role. Starting with 4 other colleagues in the same role and on the same apprenticeship has also been helpful.
Worst
Nothing particular but for me personally it is a long commute and so it is not as easy to go into the office on a more frequent basis.

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be yourself and ensure the role you are applying for allows you to progress in line with your future aspirations. Research the company values/culture.
Do you have any interview tips?
Research the culture at the company and what NFU Mutual stands for. Being a mutual company was a key emphasis of the interview as well as the company values. The interview was more of a formal conversation so try not to give rehearsed answers. Be yourself and talk about what the company can provide you with in terms of your career and what you can bring to the company.
