What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Remember that 3M ranks work ethic and enthusiasm just as much, and sometimes even more than qualification. Showing an interest in the area you might be working in, and being able to display this, is crucial. 3M is an innovative company and is willing to take risks with inexperienced staff but will expect you to be motivated.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be prepared to give a presentation, and take an aptitude test at the interview stages. Sometimes this includes a group task with other candidates. While it might seem tempting to compete, the interviewer is looking for how well you work with others under a stressful situation. Remain assertive, but be friendly to the other candidates.
