What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The independence to let you try and figure out what is wrong with a unit and how you'd go about tackling it, so that it runs the way it should.
Working with my colleagues, they are all friendly and helpful.
Producing flow charts and documentation.
Being able to help out with other projects to gain epxereince.
Worst
The amount of Lasersweeps we have requires a lot of calibrations to be done regularly. The process can take a while and usually isn't done first time around.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £19,000 - £21,000
Do you have any interview tips?
Basic interview questions about real life application, for example: "Tell me a time where you worked well as a team?", "If you had to name a weakness about yourself what would it be?"
The questions aren't too complicated, make sure you try to calm yourself down before entering the room. Everyone's nervous for interviews but you soon get into the swing of things after having answered a few questions. My manager and line manager were very talkative during the interview and put me at ease very quickly.
