What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

- Working towards a degree level qualification whilst also getting paid
- We are treated like any other employee
- The parties the firm has! (Two trainee parties a year, an annual firm-wide party, team Christmas parties etc.)
- Having days off to study
- Working with a really friendly team

Worst

- It can be tough balancing work and study
- I am often given a lot of responsibility which can be stressful

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Current salary: £15,000 - £17,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

The application process consisted of four stages:
1) A written application
2) Online awareness tests
3) A video interview
4) A face-to-face group interview

My tips would be to research the firm as much as you can so you can really explain why you want the job. The firm is also very focused on you as an individual - talk about the hobbies and interests that you do outside of work.

Do you have any interview tips?

The best advice for all interviews would be: even if you don't feel confident - fake it!

The interview started off with 6 applicants. We were given a problem and asked to work out between us what the best solution was. My tips would be: don't shy away. Make sure your voice is heard whilst also being respectful of the other applicants' input.

We then had one-to-one interviews. These were quite casual and not really serious like other interviews I have had. My tip would be to be as friendly as possible and show the interviewer you have a personality!
