What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Take time to tailor your CV and covering letter to include the key skills that the employer is looking for. The covering letter is where you can really pinpoint why you would be suitable for the role and how your experience is relevant. I took a lot of time editing mine to ensure that it would stand out amongst the other candidates.
Do you have any interview tips?
Do not be afraid to engage in conversation with the interviewer. The NFU Mutual highly value individuals who are confident and able to speak with a variety of people. This will make you stand out as a candidate as if you are a closed book they will not get a feel as to whether you will fit in with the team.
