What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
The work is challenging so you are always engaged when completing tasks. You learn something new every day as the construction industry is changing constantly. The people you work around within the site teams have always been supportive and create a positive working environment.
Worst
Sometimes people outside the company can be hard to deal with but as long as you stay calm it is manageable.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000
Current salary: £35,000 - £37,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Make sure you get everything about yourself on the application so the employer can get a sense of the type of person you are.
Do you have any interview tips?
Ask a couple of questions at the end about what the company can provide to you during the apprenticeship programme. For example is there a structure in place to progress your career or are you left to the site team to work that out.
