What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The team I work with; I learn more every day about both my job and the wider world. Crazy amount of variety of what I can do at work. The culture is becoming something better daily, we now have so much focus on sustainability and innovation that it truly feels like we are leading the rest of the world into the future.

Worst

Communication over skype calls has been testing, but I can't really blame that on DHL! I always want to be paid more if I work more, however there is no bonus system until the third year of my apprenticeship.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000

Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Speak and act confidently, but remember that its still a human who reads your application so try not to come off as a buzzword machine!

Do you have any interview tips?

The interview for my particular apprenticeship was focused on my managerial experience (Which was only being a team leader at a co-op food!) but also on who I was as a person. DHL is trying to find who will be their future leaders, so be the best version of yourself, true to yourself, not just what you think they want to see.
