What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Having the flexibility to make this apprenticeship tailored to me. And the opportunities are endless.
Worst
Because the apprenticeship is unstructured it means that occasionally you can end up job shadowing someone who doesn't know what to get you to do.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £13,000 - £15,000
Current salary: £15,000 - £17,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Have a passion for engineering and prove it! Be confident in yourself. Have a good attitude/work ethic, anything can be taught if you have a good attitude.
Do you have any interview tips?
Know what you are talking about so that you come across as being confident but not too arrogant. Know where you want to be in the future as I was asked "where do you see yourself in 10 years time?"
