What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

I get experience working in a large organisation. I get a degree paid for by Severn Trent, and after my apprenticeship I would get a good job alongside a reputation I have built up during my time as an apprentice.

Worst

I have to balance my work and my studies very carefully to do both well, often with colleagues and managers who do view my degree as something extracurricular for my personal life rather than a part of my apprenticeship.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £15,000 - £17,000

Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000

Do you have any interview tips?

While it is good to prepare to answer questions regarding your experience and skill with IT, Severn Trent are more interested in the character of apprentices. Make sure that you prepare well to be able to represent your qualities as a person, and show yourself as a 'people person'.
