What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
I would advise to highlight all existing useful skills on your application that can be transferrable from role to role. If you have 50% of the job requirements under your wing, apply for the job. The worst that could happen is the company says no.
Do you have any interview tips?
Ensure you have researched the company and the role you have applied for prior to the interview. I was asked about previous experience, for example where I have had conflicts that have been resolved, problems that I resolved etc. Show interest into the field and show a willingness to learn; continuous learning opportunities are big at GT. Make sure you have at least one question prepared for the end of the interview, don't be afraid to ask a question.
