What are the best and worst things about your job?

The company culture is fantastic and the benefits received as an employee of Infinity Works are great. The pay/promotion review is currently being improved but, like most companies in the industry, the process is already far ahead of other industries. Pay review can be requested multiple times per year and salaries within the company are very good. The continuous drive for improving everyone's skills is a huge benefit, as the company will happily pay for courses/books/materials to allow you to achieve your personal development goals.

Application Advice:

Put effort into the application form, be honest and include academic/work related points but also talk a bit about yourself outside of that environment. They really care about how the individual is outside of work.

Interview Advice:

Tip: talk to everyone you meet, be open to conversations and contribute as much as possible to team exercises.

Q's asked:
- Tell me about a conflict you helped resolve in a team setting.
- Tell me about a time when you took the lead in a team project and how did you do it.

At the interview: 1-to-1 interview, technical exercise, team exercise, 5-min individual presentation on any subject.

Interview Advice:

Very informal. Allowed me to feel comfortable and be honest and open. From my perspective, Infinity Works hired me because my values aligned with theirs so my advice is to be as honest as possible. Also spend a bit of time researching how the internet works :)

- It doesn't matter if you have no prior experience, but it will work in your favour if you can show a methodical approach and logical thought within your application

Interview Advice:

- You should feel relaxed because they're not trying to catch you out
- They may ask you to do a short (5 min) presentation on something of your choice. It doesn't have to be technical, but you should show enthusiasm and make it interesting
- If you were to build an app from scratch, how would you do it?
- Describe the technical process between clicking a link to the bbc website from google to landing on the bbc website
