What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

That every day isn't the same, and you meet so many people as well as build genuine relationships with clients. I have a diversity of clients and projects I work on, therefore you're constantly learning new things.

Worst

With the high roster of clients and projects happening, sometimes there is a lot to manage in one go. However, your team and the wider team are always there to support you and help manage your time.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £21,000 - £23,000

Current salary: £21,000 - £23,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:30

Finish: 17:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

You don't always need to have "media" experience. There is a load of training and support on that side of the agency provided by Mindshare. A lot of it is having 'relevant' experience which you can transfer skills into your new job role. Thoroughly explain how these skills are adaptable in your new role, and how they can enhance you in your new role.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be confident and honest in your experience, research the industry and the department. Advertising has so many roles and niche areas to work in, make sure you have some understanding of this. Don't be afraid to ask questions, it helps build a rapport with you and the interviewer and sometimes makes you more memorable. No one is born with the knowledge of experience in advertising, asking questions shows you're interested to learn more.
