What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Travel across Europe when working in Region 2 in merchandising.
Fun and young culture that involves everyone.
Every day is different - you are never always at your desk. We visit stores and are involved with our product a lot.
Cross communication - working with counterparts such as buying, marketing and logistics to ensure we get the best products to store at the right time.
Sometimes work can seem monotonous. Although every day is different, as an analyst there are lots of things on your 'to-do' list which have to be done everyday.
Progression appears to be slow from the merchandising into the buying function and this can demotivate you.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000
Current salary: £17,000 - £19,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be yourself but show your interests as best as you can. TJX are interested in recruiting a diverse array of people and any way you can show external interests and experience are great.
Do you have any interview tips?
Think about the big retail picture - I was asked about Brexit and what it would mean for the off price business world.
Think about other candidates at the assessment centre too. They are interested in how you work and communicate with others and this is a big company focus.
