What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

Always learning new tools/improving technical skills. As a Grad, I can always book meetings or reach out to people from all across the company to find out more about their role/business area. The Grad scheme is a steep learning curve, which is exciting as I'm learning something new every single day. There is a huge Grad/Intern/Apprentice community which is great and there are regular activities as a part of this.

Worst

Due to there being lots of different offices (which is great for flexibility), sometimes teams are spread out over the country so along with that and Covid, I haven't met all of my team yet.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £31,000 - £33,000

Current salary: £31,000 - £33,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 09:00

Finish: 17:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Have a clear, concise CV and tailor it to the specific Grad scheme. E.g. you would display different skills for a People scheme than a T&I scheme.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be friendly and genuine - don't forget to smile! I was asked a lot of competency questions - Google examples of these and practice your answers - have a few different scenarios (e.g. university, hobbies and jobs) that you can draw experiences and learned from. Don't be afraid to reflect on these, they're not looking for someone perfect!
