What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Research the company well beforehand - know its key products, how the bank operates, especially in EMEA as a branch of Japan. Look at the annual report to see what areas it is growing in, as it is growing as competitors contract.
Do you have any interview tips?
The interview is an assessment of whether the bank wants you to be within its walls for potentially your whole working life. Displaying teamwork, interest and charm are far more important than detailed and specific product knowledge for an intern or graduate position.
