What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Berenberg often hires people from non-traditional backgrounds (e.g. people who didn't study finance or economics). If you're able to convey intellectual curiosity with an interest in finance, that helps a lot.
Do you have any interview tips?
Read the FT and be able to give well-thought-out opinions about a few different topics in finances (the oil price, interest rates, etc.).
