What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The most important thing is to remember to be yourself and let your personality come across. Although Barratt are looking for professional people, they are also looking for real people. So be sure that your own personality comes across during the telephone interview and assessment centre. Ensure that you have researched the housing industry thoroughly, I would recommend undertaking a SWOT analysis of the industry beforehand. This could prove really helpful. The assessment centre can be quite daunting, but also very rewarding so ensure you embrace all the activities of the day.
Do you have any interview tips?
You need to communicate a passion for why you want to be on the graduate scheme. During the interview process, there will only be a few applicants left, and they too will have passed the assessment centre. So ensure you research Barratt beforehand and know why you want to work for the company, and why the role is so important to you.
