What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

I would say if you are thinking about teaching but maybe don't feel quite ready and you are considering this role- go for it! It is a great experience and allows you to develop other skills and make a more informed choice about whether teaching is right for you. The amount of trainings' you go on also means that you get a real feel for what business areas you enjoy. An amazing first job but you have to be a very motivated and a resilient person, as it can get to you when you have to go off to work maybe on a Saturday or Sunday when all your friends will be out and about.

Do you have any interview tips?

I would say really think about your marketing presentation and research realistic figures as I fell down on this part by being a bit over optimistic on how many trials we would book for my event. In the group activities demonstrate your team work skills but also the ability to be assertive when needed. At lunch they are still observing so don't get too comfortable. One of the people at my assessment day said 'I think you should open a centre near Watford there are loads of 'posh' schools there', this shows a complete lack of understanding of Explore as our most popular centres are actually in quite deprived areas with large ethnic diversity.
