Be willing to take on a challenge, you will be faced with a high level of responsibility early on in your career and immediately be expected to pull your weight.

Be prepared and knowledgeable around the market and RBS's past.
Don't be afraid of mentioning the challenges that it's come up against and the litigation that has occurred over the past few years. The bank is addressing it openly and they'd expect you to have full knowledge of this.
