What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

- the varied nature of the role! each day is different
- the types of projects i get to work on
- the people i work with

Worst

- being site based there can be some commuting involved approx 2-3 hours a day travel tine to and from site. But this just depends on the location of the site you are put on.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000

Current salary: £37,000 - £39,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 08:00

Finish: 17:00

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Go for it! Even if you don't have all of the required experience/skills if you show that you are willing to put the work in and have other transferable skills i would definitely still apply.

I attended a university careers event with a member of our HR team and i asked what was it that we looked for in graduates and its not just top grade students we look for. It's the little things like those who have also had a part time job alongside uni as it shows that they are hard workers and commitment.

Be yourself
Ask questions (you are also interviewing the company and you want to make sure that they are a good fit for you) it also shows that you are invested!
Do your research and be prepared - there are lots of other grads applying for the same role you need to sell yourself and make sure you stand out
