What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The grad scheme was a great opportunity to get to know the business and get involved in projects, you wouldn't normally. Make the most of that opportunity, not everybody gets to have it and once you're in your role, you won't be able to do this as much, so try to learn as much as you can, whilst you're a graduate.

Worst

There is a lot of uncertainty, which is quite stressful. You never know where you will end up next, which makes it difficult to plan ahead and essentially you are putting your life on hold for 2 years.
There also doesn't seem to be one clear person who makes the decision about where you end up, so you need to speak to a lot of people at different levels to ensure you get what you want. It's a good opportunity to speak to senior leaders, but it can also be hard, especially when you aren't in the same location.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Current salary: £29,000 - £31,000

Start: 08:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

It's ok not to know where you want to end up, they want you to make the most of the experience, rather than focus on where you want to end up.
Be flexible! You will be travelling and living across the country, so you need to be open to that. Try and see it as an opportunity to build your network

Do you have any interview tips?

As cheesy as it sounds, be yourself during the assessment centre. If you have questions, don't be afraid of asking them. Be prepared to answer questions, but it's more of a conversation than them interviewing you, so don't let that throw you.
