What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
getting to interact with so many different companies and people along the process, along with being site based involved in the project and seeing it go up and change everyday
Worst
we are always under time pressures and it can get overwhelming at times.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Current salary: £35,000 - £37,000

Start: 08:00
Finish: 18:00
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
check the competencies required and what skills you possess vs what you need in the role. the more practical experience you can get the better off you will be.
Dont just look at college, many companies are now doing trainee programmes which are predominantly site based. this is a route which caters for many and most of the people who finish it are in a much better position than those coming from college

Dont be afraid to ask the awkward questions, salary etc.
Talk about the skills you have and how they are an attribute for you in this role.
if you have any experience in the construction industry bring it up as this will be invaluable to companies
