What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
The investment the company puts into me. The management has such an encouraging attitude and want to throw me into as many opportunities as possible.
There are so many products, it is a challenge to get your head around each product and the processes for each product. I have been on both the Inspection and Insurance team and they have very different processes from each other.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Current salary: £25,000 - £27,000
What hours do you actually work, on average?
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Be truthful, write everything you feel you have achieved and be honest about what areas you would like to develop. Try not to worry about what degree background you are coming from. As long as you have the skills, it doesn't matter the exact subject matter of your degree. I did Fine Art for example.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself. This feels like a very small company even though it is big. Everyone is friendly, just try to engage with as many people as possible, and have a brief idea of the insurance industry before. Really make sure you know why you want the job. But also remember this interview is an opportunity to see if the company is the right fit for you.
