What hours do you actually work, on average?
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Explain your own story of how you decided on becoming a lawyer and why you want to work at Bristows - there are a lot of ways to differentiate between Bristows and other firms.
Show an interest in Bristows' practice areas, particularly technology and life sciences.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be yourself in the interview and show your personality. As there are so many applicants for a limited number of places, the interview is as much about the partners trying to find a good mix of people who will get along, as well as people who will make good lawyers.
The interviewers do not ask trick questions or try to intimidate you. They genuinely want to try to get to know you.
They will ask situational judgement type questions to find out how you would react in workplace scenarios.
