Read up on non-legal commercial current affairs and think how these might have ties to other work that lawyers do, rather than simply keeping up to date with the 'law' itself.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was asked to consider what departments I thought were involved in a big transaction (fact pattern given in the case study). In answering a question like this a candidate should think beyond the 'obvious'; litigation and corporate and consider the important role specialist groups play such as, IP, Pension and Tax.
