What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Don't worry about being an expert on the energy industry. It is incredibly complicated and trying to learn all its minutiae before an interview or assessment day will just leave you feeling under pressure. There is an understanding that new recruits will know nothing about the industry; focus on convincing the company that you can learn new information quickly, have the talent and motivation to succeed, and that you are personable enough to work within a company that relies a lot on interpersonal relationships and stakeholder management.
