What are the Best and Worst things about your job?
Best
Consistent learning. Ability to continue to learn no matter what grade/position you are - no 2 days are the same!
Worst
I did take a bit of a pay cut to take the position as trainee compared to my previous career, but I know that my salary in construction will surpass anything I could have made in my previous job, in the very near future.
What is the annual salary for this role?
Starting salary: £17,000 - £19,000
Current salary: £27,000 - £29,000
What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Draw from all your experiences and use them to showcase how you are not only willing to learn, but willing to continue to do so.
Do you have any interview tips?
I was questioned about my lack of experience in construction, but I used this as an opportunity to explain how my management skills have been developed.
