What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be sure that you want to work in technology - the vast majority of Accenture's projects are in that area, whether the specific role is techy or not. There has been a drive in recent years to expand the strategy practise, but I believe this is to a large extent a way of leveraging Accenture's technology expertise.

In the actual application, I found the key was to know what you're applying for. Some applicants think of Accenture as just another name on a long list of management consultancies, but make sure that you know about the character of the company. Read up online, talk to whoever you can at careers events, or even contact HR to see if there's someone you can talk to.
