What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
The job requires 100% of your time and attention and is more of a vocation than a career, but with that comes reward. To do it you need to be driven, focussed and be willing to go the extra mile to promote a high performance culture within.
You must know your market/specialism better than all of your competitors, of which there are a lot.
Do you have any interview tips?
Revise the basic concepts of recruitment using Google. Understand that recruitment is more than matching a job to a person and reaping the rewards, it's the everything in between that matters just as much i.e. compliance, marketing and building relationships.
Understand however, that the priority is fees.
