What are the Best and Worst things about your job?

Best

The people - working with like minded outgoing intelligent people who are driven and ambitious, honestly there is nowhere else like it.
The Culture - teamwork, whole company meetups every other week; no work at weekends ever.
The reward - it's "work hard play hard", but there is huge amounts of job satisfaction, recognition in pay and from management and incredibly fast progression, even for a consultancy.

Worst

The travel - away from home Monday-Friday, that being said, we never work weekends.
The hours - can be tough at times, but this can make it more rewarding when you finally crack a difficult problem or persuade a tough client.

What is the annual salary for this role?

Starting salary: £49,000 - £51,000

Current salary: £61,000 - £65,000

What hours do you actually work, on average?

Start: 07:30

Finish: 17:30

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

The online tests are hard as far as those sorts of tests go, make sure you do practise beforehand!

At the selection day, you're not competing with anyone, if all the candidates are good they will all get through to the afternoon. Work as a team when required and don't try and stand out at others expense.

Do you have any interview tips?

Be yourself! Newton is looking for people with a specific set of values and motivations. If you're the right fit and up to the standards they require you'll get an offer.

If you try and act differently to fit what you think they're looking for you're unlikely to fool the interviewers, and if you do, won't enjoy the job if you get in.
