Try to attend an open evening and talk to as many people who have done the programme as possible before applying.

Do you have any interview tips?

Make sure you research City Year so you go in to the interview knowing what City Year is. Show your passion for working with young people and go in with evidence of when you have worked with young people or at least an idea of what you would do if you were in common situations that happen in school.

Also be prepared to say what you feel you could get out of the programme (how it fits into your future career path, skills that made need develop)
