What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
Allianz already recruits internally, so you really have to convince people that you will bring a contribution to the firm that they wouldn't find anywhere else. Allianz gets involved with initiatives that are industry wide, such as Flood Re, so a knowledge of these projects would help.
Do you have any interview tips?
Be polite, and honest about what you don't know. Allianz is keen for its people to gain an in depth knowledge of the insurance industry, so convincing them that you like to becoming an expert on something is a good thing to do.
