What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Think carefully why you want to work for Mars. Be ourselves. One of the most important qualities that Mars will be looking for in you, is can you get on with everyone else who you'll work with, are you a good person. And if you are not a team player, Mars is not the company for you. Relax, and talk about what your passionate about, whether is cooking, sport or even your pet hamster, Mars want to know about what makes you tick. Have good examples that show your versatility and especially if applying for the Graduate programmes, examples of how you are adaptable to change.
