What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Be confident on what you have learnt at university and be honest. GE looks for candidates who have the right attitude to solve a problem. You many not be the brightest (you need not be the brightest), but if you have the right attitude to learn and get involved in a team, GE will hire you.

Do you have any interview tips?

If you are asked to give a presentation, do not over run. As a software applicant, learn about the life cycle of a software product. Do research about what GE (business you are applying to) does. If you have completed any previous internships, that will help too. Hiring mangers will like to know about any social activities that you are involved apart from your studies.
