What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?

Make clear your interest in science and engineering and what you've done/been involved with in the past that highlights this. Make sure to complete every step of the assessment process properly.

Do you have any interview tips?

Phone interview (in some cases,) followed by standard assessment centre format which includes:
- Group Task
- Verbal & Numerical Reasoning
- Competency Interview
- Oral Presentation
- Technical Interview

Be honest if you don't know the answer to a question but let them know your educated guess, or train of thought if it's a problem you are asked to solve.
