Do lots of practice tests online for the initial tests - some websites have free practice tests and I found these really helped.
Do you have any interview tips?
Go through the civil service competencies and try to think of examples of things you have done which demonstrate these. In the group exercise don't just try and doggedly argue for your view - they are looking at how well you include others in a discussion as well as the way that you can put forward an argument.
