Starting salary: £25,000 - £27,000

What advice would you give to someone applying to this role?
If you find the practice numerical and verbal reasoning tests difficult, perservere. If you're able enough, practicing similar tests that are available online for free should do the trick.
Don't worry too much about the CV and application form - these may be considered when you're being assigned a placement if you get on to the scheme, but if you make it to the Fast Stream Assessment Centre, the interviewers and assessors won't get to see them. They actually won't know anything about you unless you tell them, as you're being judged on your ability and aptitude rather than past work experience.
Do you have any interview tips?
The interview is competency based - they're looking for specific examples of when something happened, and the action you took that demonstrates your abilities, rather than generalised statements - "I always ensure that I'm collaborative" etc.
Try and approach all of the sections of the Assessment Centre separately - even if you think that one went terribly wrong, don't be disheartened - it probably wasn't as bad as you thought, and you can demonstrate the competency in another exercise.
